2021

I was pretty busy during 2021! I had a full-time job and was trying to have some balance between my graphic design job and my hobbies. It's a lot of time staring at a computer! For a while I tried my hand at traditional art. I bought some ink dip pens, and was really getting into it.

In retrospect, I should have made character ref sheets for my OCs before attempting to make any sort of comic.

The very first time I draw Cinder was back in 2014/2015 in my high school sketchbook. Every once in a while I'd redraw her. She didn't have a name, or a plot, she was just a character design.

Eventually I grew fond of her. I wanted to give the character a name, more depth, a plot! Girlie is probably one of my oldest OCs so she deserves it.

I made this with a lightbox / a ink dip pen. I really like doing traditional lineart but I didn't have any space to store the material.

Princess Jellyfish got me into the Josei genre and I can't be any less grateful. I love the comic!! I'm currently trying to collect all of the physical copies!

I love how the story tackles complex themes like otaku culture, fashion, marriage, family and more. I just love it.

remember when you were a teenage girl and you didn’t like being a child but also you didn’t like being adult but also people treated you like a child and an adult all at the same time and it’s confusing. and then you learn that you are actually an older and younger version of yourself all at the same time. you are 16 and 30 and evil and yet so innocent and new to this world and sometimes you reject god and sometimes you just miss your dad
