Resources
I've collected a few sites and references throughout the years that I think would be useful to any artist/creative. I try to put resources that are a little less known or hard to find through search engines.
Note: Anything relating to the coding of this site can be found in the "credits" link in the footer.
Books
- Anatomy for Scupltors: An overall good book for drawing fundamentals. It generally has good advice for the human figure.
- Color and Light: A Guide For the Realistic Painter by James Gurney Extremely useful for learning about different types of lighting useful information for how to choose color.
- Morpho's Anatomy for Artist Series Really well-made books for mid-level artists who know their fundamentals but really want to improve. I highly rec the "Fat and Skin Folds" edition.
Reference / Stock Image Sites
- Adorkable Stock A stock image gallery that started out on deviantart, but has now branched out to their own site. They also have a "sketch" mode for people looking to do quick figure drawings.
- The Pose Archives A stock image gallery on deviantart.
- The Mobile Phone Museum Image archive of old phones.
- The Old Robots Website that archives old robot toys.
- Usplash Stock image site that has some pretty high quality photos.
Neat Programs
- Anime Effects A really cool open source program that's mainly used to animate 2D assets.
- Lazy Nezumi A pen stabalizer app. It costs money but in my personal opinion it's worth the price you pay.
- ★ PureRef A pinboard to hold image refs/moodboards etc. Very handy when using several image refs!
- Sweet Home 3D An open-source 3D interior design app. Useful for interior reference images.
- Obsidian Writing/Doc Organizing application. Also has a canvas board.
Stuff I Made

Decorative Clip Studio Paint Brushes
7 Decorative brushes that are 100% free. Should work with any version of Clip Studio Paint. Made when it CSP wasn't that popular and the asset store wasn't around yet. I originally had these available on deviantart for download but had deleted my DA a few years back.
Available for download via itch.io
