I was doing a lot of fandom art around this time, but I did have an interest in making my own OCs! I had a lot of fan characters for Disgaea / Homestuck / Pokemon, as well as 'fanon' characters like that 2P fella from Hetalia. Most of these OCs I've kept as my own!

Early Bryce Design when she was known as 'Nebula'. I used to run a Raspberyl (Disgaea 3) ask blog back in the day, but I really wanted to break away from the Disgaea fandom.
I wasn't really sure what i was doing here but it looks like I wanted to draw snow? OH! In retrospect, I was reading a lot of Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow fanfiction and the sheer angst of Red isolated himself on a whole mountain must-have struck a nerve with how I see good character lore.
The Candy Witch and the Familiar started out as fandom OCs. As for what fandom, I'll just say it's on a 'If Ya Know, Ya Know' basis.

My favorite thing in the world is making a pokemon team for OCs. If you haven't seen a team composed for my current OCs it's soley because I am heavily restraining myself.
I think its a great honor to be commissioned to draw your own oc. This a commission for Sudrien, of my OC lilith! I do have some regrets for this art, mostly the fact that Lilith has people hair instead of something more blob-slime-girl-like.
I was so obsessed with JaneRoxy, I really wanted the ship to sail! They had really interesting themes individually, and an unique relationship dynamic that differed greatly from the other characters. Yes, they are childhood friends and 'besties' but there was so much conflict and turmoil in their friend dynamic.
I know this was a crack ship, but I really liked it? IDK, it was cute. Even though their interactions were really sparse I really think they could have worked out somehow.
Cardverse was one of my teenage obsessions. I still really like the concept. The fanon interpretations of the concept was fun to read, and the ask blogs on tumblr were top tier.
As an angsty teenage girl, I really loved other equally angsty teenage girls. I believe I drew this for JadeRose week, which was a tumblr homestuck community event.
I'm a big Rose Lalonde fan (I feel like it's evident, but if not, I'm letting the fact be known here :) ). My favorite moment in Homestuck a lot of Rose's story beats/story arcs.
Aradia is one of my favorite trolls! I drew her quite a lot. I love her time motif, and she always seemed like such a tragic character.
I sometimes think about why I drew so much fanart back in the day, and I've come to realize that it wasn't because I wanted more attention drawn to my art, but because I wanted some of my favorite characters to get a spotlight shone onto them. "Please love this character as much as I love them! Please, please, please!"
